Micky Murphy article inaccuracies
[edit]Pieces of information in the article Micky Murphy are inaccurate. A list of known errors follows.
- The subject's name is "Mick Murphy" not "Micky Murphy."[1]
- The subject's elder brother - now deceased - was called "Sam Murphy" not "Martin."[2]
- The subject's full name is "Michael Aaron Murphy" not "Michael Jeff Murphy".[3]
- The subject has never been known as "Jeffers". See above re: subject's real full name.
- The subject was born in "Knoxville, Tennessee" not "Leicester, United Kingdom". He is therefore not "Anglo-American" but "American" by birth. His family also did not come from the UK and move to the USA when he was 2.[4]
- The subject's birthday is "17th July, 1971" not "August 11th, 1972". Indeed, later in the Micky Murphy article under the heading "Equipment", the text even makes reference to Murphy's real birthday of 17th July.[5]
- The subject's early band "Without Warning" was a heavy metal band featuring Murphy and high school friends including Nick Raskulinecz (now a music producer of note.) It was not a "vocal group" and never featured anyone called "Max Pumpkin" or a "girlfriend" called "Sally."[6]
