Ownership Question

[edit]

The infobox says "Private" for "Type" but Cedar Fair is traded on NYSE under the ticker symbol FUN. Wouldn't this make it "Public"? Dwp49423 20:37, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Deer Park Petting Zoo?

[edit]

As a child my parents took me to an amazing place where I was allowed to pet deers while they ran free in a large wooded enclosure. I'm trying to locate it to take my nephew there...is that the deer park petting zoo that is now an amusement park?

Yes, it has been changed. They don't have deer petting anymore. ~Crowstar~ 00:55, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Scrambler?

[edit]

Wasn't the scrambler taken down and replaced around 2003 or 2004? I've heard rumors it was because someone died on it... ~Crowstar~ 00:56, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you're referring to Chaos, it dislodged from it's central pivot a few years ago, it was removed, no one died. Stratosphere (U T) 15:23, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ah. I'm gonna go eat the person who told me that... ~Crowstar~ 22:13, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

MI Roller Coast

[edit]

This site is not defunt. It should be put back. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Suttna08 (talkcontribs) 18:46, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The site is definitely defunct. The owner closed it in spring 2008, and it's been merged with his other site Cheezonastick. —Preceding unsigned comment added by jonroost (talkcontribs) 10:40, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Boblo Island?

[edit]

The comment about Boblo Island in regards to MIA being MI's last theme park is a bit off-topic, especially since Boblo Island wasn't actually in Michigan. It's a piece of unneeded trivia, I think, but I don't want to delete it without some feedback. justaredherring (talk) 16:17, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see why it needs to be on here considering it is not even about a Michigan park. I would delete that part if I were you. Suttna08 (talk) 01:25, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Falling Star

[edit]

Someone reverted the edit I made that tells the reason on why Falling Star was removed. I sent a feedback message asking why and they replied saying exactly what I put in the article. The reason there was no citations is because email can't be linked to. It's credible proof, but it's the only source that mentions it, so how can it be in there then? --Adam the silly (talk) 13:34, 27 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
