Sections
[edit]I came because of the copy edit tag but it looks like there are way too many specific sections as well that don't necessarily have related information under them. I think it would be much better if there were just a few larger sections and then some subsections. Any consensus on that? CurlyPop88 (talk) 22:48, 4 March 2012 (UTC)

Vailsburg, General Commentary
[edit]Vailsburg was described as "poverty stricken." Members of my family lived there. My mentor lived there. Vailsburg was not poverty stricken by what I saw. I found no inline citation describing it as poor. If someone can find documentation describing it as such, please revert my edit.
The entire article is written in an informal "street-sounding" tone, with not nearly enough in-line citations to justify the numerous assertions of "fact." Many articles about Organized crime share this problem, probably as a result of the sorts of folks who are interested enough to edit said articles. The problem is probably akin to my (anecdotal) experience that books on the subject are frequently stolen from libraries. I'm tempted to take a meat axe to anything that isn't verified by citation.
