Michael's Age

Why is Michael's date of birth not recorded as 1972? Michael has stated that he was six years old when his mother died and we know that his mother died in 1978 as it was mentioned onscreen, the exact date being 13 September 1978. Surely this is enough proof that Michael was born in 1972, if you know your maths so why is it that whenever I record the date, it keeps being reverted? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.38.41.198 (talk) 16:16, 23 September 2011 (UTC)

He was six years old but he could have been six years and one day, or six years and 360 days, giving different years of birth. We can't say either way. –anemoneprojectors– 13:35, 24 September 2011 (UTC)
