[edit]Something must be missing from the start of this phrase: "McKinnell from Salford Grammar School he graduated from the University of Manchester, England, in 1958 and received a masters in architecture from Columbia University in 1960." [edit]According to Ned Cramer, from Architect magazine, McKinnell was born in Manchester, so he is British and not American.
