  • "The Times/Artangel Open was conceived to give artists a unique opportunity to realise unusually ambitious projects. Break Down was selected by a panel including artists Brian Eno and Rachel Whiteread, The Times' art critic Richard Cork and Artangel Co-Directors James Lingwood and Michael Morris." Ibid
  • Strangely about half the sources give 7,226 items and the other half 7,227 - given there would appear to be a carefully taken inventory I don;t know why there should be such a discrepancy.
  • " The inclusion of fellow artists' work in Break Down almost certainly cost him his Turner Prize nomination." [2]

I have added a link to a video in which the artist is drawing portraits in his studio. It shows a completely different side to Michael Landy as an artist, as it is a completely different practice from the large-scale installation work for which he is known. T.Broch (talk) 13:53, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
