Copy violation
[edit]All material added on June 5, 2013 was copied from [[1]], the Shakespeare Theatre bio on Kahn. I have removed that material, per WP:COPY.Flami72 (talk) 15:42, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
Further expansion
[edit]Using Kahn's bio from the Shakespearetheatre.org for starters, this article should be expanded to mention more of Kahn's regional theatre and opera productions and other experience. Of course, material cannot simply be copied over, but the facts can be presented in our own words, with appropriate citations to the bio. -- Ssilvers (talk) 21:15, 17 November 2013 (UTC)
- Agreed - any volunteers ;) ed Ecragg (talk) 22:53, 17 November 2013 (UTC)
- I added a few operas and another regional theatre, that's all I'll be able to do on this for a while.Flami72 (talk) 15:36, 19 November 2013 (UTC)
Tony Award, a mystery
[edit]For the 1986 Regional Theatre Award: The ibdb shows that the American Shakespeare Festival (Michael Kahn, Artistic Director) was a winner in 1986 for Regional Theatre. (here:[[2]], click on Awards). However, the infoplease list shows that the American Repertory Theatre (ART) won the Tony in 1986 for "Special Award", no Regional Award listed (here: [3]). I am not able to access the Tony Award site on this old computer, so I leave it to others to look at that site; however, I suspect that the ibdb may be incorrect.Flami72 (talk) 13:45, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
- Another source, playbill, shows the ART as 1986 winner, here [4].Flami72 (talk) 14:01, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
