Anti gun anti 2nd amendment
[edit]I see a number of Grostal's political accomplishments listed here so this seems a valid forum to discuss his intensely ant gun anti 2nd amendment stance. Gronstal has blocked from vote every piece of pro gun legislation to be proposed to the senate. A bill with 23 co sponsors was blocked, it only takes 25 votes to pass. Gronstal has done this to stand your ground, constitutional carry, supervised youth handgun shooting, right to bear arms, and gun owner privacy. On top of this Gronstal is campaigning on a pro 2nd amendment platform and claims to support gun rights. The duplicity is staggering. There are numerous pro gun groups actively targeting Gronstal with TV and radio ads in an attempt to defeat him in the current election. This is a hugely important and current issue.
To which I would like to introduce into the list of his accomplishments the full list of anti gun legislation that he has blocked on procedural grounds, and some mention of the high level of support that some of these bills have had.
I will keep this factual and current. I still expect a certain level of resistance as Wikipedia is known to have a strong liberal political bias, and the factual statement of this very important issue will not meet well with the political agenda which editors support, but this is too big and too important to be swept aside. The issue at hand is now one of how to phrase this section in a factual, accurate, and not undue importance while still grasping the full scope of Gronstal's use of procedural issues to completely dominate and defeat all pro gun legislation.
