[edit]Cavila -- I can not view the whole of the "Romanitas: essays on Roman archaeology in honour of Sheppard Frere, ed. R.J.A. Wilson. Oxford: Oxbow, 2006" online, but a search of the book turns up none of the claims you say it has. I'm frankly skeptical that p. xxi of the introduction would have so much detail on one of the essay contributors. I guess i'll have to get to hard library tuesday to double check.
- Yeah, hunt down a hard copy if you like. It may have been all in my head : ) Cavila (talk) 14:20, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
As for all the "probably best known" language, that's just not sourceable to anything. Just say what he does/did.Bali ultimate (talk) 14:11, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
- You're talking about the lead or the same information a couple of lines down? You want the lead sourced as well? Also, I didn't thumb up "probably". Cavila (talk) 14:20, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
- Oh and why "articles"? That's not how you refer to these monograph series. Cavila (talk) 14:23, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
