Finkel gave a good-sized sorta interview to "Snap Judgment" this afternoon, which prodded me to research via WP and start the accompanying stub article. (Their site spells it "Finkle", i assumed erroneously.) More detail from it is likely to be worth including. (Also, i see the memoir was published in '05; surely that has most of the detail that i have left lacking.) --Jerzy•t22:01, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I checked about 300 of the 1,052 WP hits for articles mentioning both Michael and Finkel, and it seems likely that the rest are articles each citing both someone named Michael or Michaels, and someone else named Finkel. Some of the 17 i found i piped with just his last name bcz i didn't want to take the time to figure out which biblio templates have "namelink" or whatever parameters, apparently to semi-automatically generate "Finkel, Michael," within footnotes; someone with that insight may find it worth cleaning up after me. IMO, BTW, it would be more valuable to add to the accompanying article a "Published works" section with at least corresponding bibliography and "articlography"[??] entries for the perhaps dozen separate works cited in those 17 pre-existing WP articles. --Jerzy•t02:14, 27 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
