New York Times
[edit]In response to concerns about source quality, I have added three recent New York Times sources about the subject.Sunnymale (talk) 07:28, 5 April 2014 (UTC)
COI Disclosure
[edit]Consistent with the disclosure on my user page, I have a friendly or acquaintance relationship with the subject of this article. I have not been paid, directly or indirectly, but I am voluntarily disclosing this relationship out of an abundance of caution and transparency. I will update this disclosure in the unlikely event I am ever paid to edit on behalf of this subject.Sunnymale (talk) 07:28, 5 April 2014 (UTC)
- Sunnymale, please excuse my mess while I work on the article. I noticed that Forbes says that he quit his job as a court clerk to start his company, while The New York Times says that he was offered a new job in Washington that he turned down. Do you happen to know which is accurate (or maybe you can just ask him). CorporateM (Talk) 15:05, 11 April 2014 (UTC)
Misc
[edit]I have given the article a once-through, but I usually do not leave very detailed edit summaries when I am over-hauling an article. Happy to discuss any of the changes. I find that it is usually helpful to ask the article-subject if there are any errors (I have an anonymous email address I use for this purpose). I will wait to see if Sunny does so since they have a relationship. My initial impression was that this article was an obvious delete, so I am very glad Sunny was persistent in digging up sources. It turns out it would have been a big mistake to delete it.
PS - I will put it on my impossibly long list of To Dos that I may or may not ever do to do some work on Online reputation management. Maybe after History of public relations is GA. CorporateM (Talk) 15:45, 11 April 2014 (UTC)
