Length: 372 words (Estimated printed pages: 2)
WAITING times for disability equipment are so long that people have literally died on the list, a damning report of NSW Health has found. Hospitals are clogged with people forced to seek medical treatment that the right gear would have avoided. Orthotics, pressure cushions, chairs and bathing aids worth as little as $55 are on the Program of Appliances for Disabled People list. Liberal MLC Robyn Parker, chair of a parliamentary inquiry into the program, slammed the ``staggering lack...

Howard's reforms will end in disaster John Howard's industrial relations policy will do for the ALP what Oliver Cromwell did for the British monarchy. It was the genius of Howard to convince a large slice of the working class to vote Liberal. It is his hubris that, like Margaret Thatcher with the British Conservatives, he will make his party unelectable for at least a generation at any level of politics. I predicted and read the Northern...

AUSTRALIA'S Paralympic fencing head coach Sally Kopiec has put her hand up for the job in Athens. Kopiec pointed out that Australia's best could only obtain a ranking in the the top 30 four years ago, whereas the nation now had two fencers,...

Alston, 22, has practised for seven years in his Homebush backyard, just 500 metres away, picturing the day when he takes on the world's best across the river, in Olympic Park. That day has almost arrived and Alston is savouring every second. ``It's going to be...

Only a few of those sources actually mention him. Do a text search for his name within the Newsbank text. There might be *just* enough in those sources to create a half-decent Wikipedia article ... and perhaps he's notable for being one of a handful of Australian Paralympic fencers.
