Partial/meaningful lyric citation is okay. In ictu oculi (talk) 00:02, 10 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The link mouse-loves-rice.com appears to be for English classes, not the song. Also one of the links to the blogs requires a log in on the other end. I am removing both links. Cyberiagirl (talk) 22:50, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mice Love RiceLao Shu Ai Da Mi – Not an English song, doesn't have any official English title. Timmyshin (talk) 08:45, 9 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose - per Google Books results (Amazon is not a WP:RS). btw even it were not widely cited in English with the English name the proposed WP:PINYIN spacing is incorrect ...also that is a misunderstanding above about lyrics copyright, a song article is incomplete without some citation from the lyrics, usually the first line or some other significant lyrical content e.g. related to the song title. In ictu oculi (talk) 00:01, 10 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose as this is improper pinyin orthography/spacing (see DeFrancis, ed. ABC Chinese-English Dictionary. Appendix 1 "Basic Rules for Hanyu Pinyin Orthography"), while this RM is based on a move to a transliterated (pinyin) title. --Cold Season (talk) 16:21, 10 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I don't have that book. Kindly educate me what the correct orthography should be? Timmyshin (talk) 23:10, 10 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
It states: "Structures of two or three syllables which express an integral concept are to be written together as one word." It would properly be Laoshu Ai Dami. --Cold Season (talk) 03:23, 11 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
