Merge?

Think not. Rather, cleanup.

Three types of worms:

  • gusano rojo, chinicuil: Hypopta agavis (carpenter moth)
  • "gusano blanco", meocuile: Aegiale hesperiaris (skipper butterfly)
  • "gusano picudo": Scyphophorus acupunctatus (weevil beetle)

Good information here, but unfortunately no real useful references, so who knows where most of the information came from. I would love to verify it but I can find no good info sources myself. Everything on the web either refers to other web articles, also with no references, or simply states information with no references. The only reference given here that doesn't simply link to another wikipedia entry, links to a popular article, and not anything academically useful [ie. a journal article or authoritative book].

The same goes for the information found in the linked pages for Scyphophorus acupunctatus, Hypopta agavis and Aegiale hesperianus - it would be great to have this information referenced.
