there is no information about the Meyer wavelet on the wikipedia, one of the first wavelets, with relevant properties: the first indefinitely derivable wavelet. I'm trying to fulfill details of continuous wavelets so as to provide more complete vision both on the history and mathematical tools. Since I'm not an expert on wiki, and I have many difficulties to build a proper/clean page in a fast way, I make many changes trying to "adjust" the output. Sorry. This is an attempt to provide a simple summary about on classical wavelet as it can be seen in any standard book or serious reference. I stop for a while my contribution and I will wait a few days for a feedback from wiki...Hmo (talk) 19:14, 16 March 2013 (UTC)Hmo
Relationship between omega and x is unclear
[edit]The first equation defines Psi as a function of omega and nu. The second equation defines nu as a function of x. omega and x are never explained. Are they the same thing? If not, then what are they? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Richierocks (talk • contribs) 06:50, 3 July 2014 (UTC)
