Etymology
[edit]IIRC the name derives from the Military Experimental Establishment (MEXE) in Christchurch (same place the Bailey Bridge was developed). Can anyone find a cite for this from a "notable" source? It would be useful to demonstrate etymology for what would otherwise appear to be a damned odd name. 62.196.17.197 (talk) 10:16, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
