I note that there is a large set of station pages being set up for this network. None of them seem independently notable (at least within the content of .en), and so I suggest that the relevant content is merge here. Note that we shouldn't be used as a bus timetable, so much of the information should be removed (see Wikipedia:Notability (Railway lines and stations)). Hi there, I would like to argue in favour of their notability: I chose to create the articles considering its the first modern system of its type geographically (most if not all current articles are located in the city's historic centre or its main expressway) and also after seeing a number of articles of similar structure and length of the Lima Metro and of the Empresa de los Ferrocarriles del Estado (among others) that have existed without issue for years now. I have also added sources to each article and history sections in some cases, although I will admit that at times WP:SIGCOV for such a section is not available (for this I'd argue that some N.A. articles such as this one have the same issue). I agree that other stuff exists, and should also be removed in the long term. Taking the Javier Prado (Metropolitano) page as an arbitrary example, then removing the services and connections section (not a directory), then there's a single sentence and a single image, which could both easily find a place on the target. I agree that the system is notable, which is why we should have a page for the system (Metropolitano (Lima)), but notability not inherited applies for the stations. I agree with your points but I believe at the same time that some stations (i.e. the Central Station that's soon to be expanded with the underground Metro line) at least have a general degree of notability. I'll refrain from creating further articles on the subject in any case until a final decision is reached. AlejandroFC (talk) 22:20, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Support the merge of all of these. WP:Notability in this case means that there are sources with in depth coverage of the topic. I looked at (I think) all of them during Nep Page Patrol and IMO they don't have that and I could not mark them as reviewed (except one unusual one which was an edge case) . Many of them had bus schedules which constituted ~90% of the article which I took out. I also would write all of the things that Klbrain has said above except that they did it already. :-) Sincerely, North8000 (talk) 01:36, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
BTW once the bus schedules are removed, what typically remains is 1-2 sentences which are easily and best merged into this higher level article. Sincerely, North8000 (talk) 14:06, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
