Fictitious edits on train going to Rockefeller Center, New York, New York

[edit]

The Baltimore and Ohio trains had their northeastern terminus in the Communipaw Terminal, Jersey City, New Jersey, on the western shore of Hudson River. Only Pennsylvania Railroad and Lehigh Valley Railroad trains used the North River tunnels into Manhattan. The schedules indicate coach and sleeper cars as having the terminus in Jersey City, not Manhattan or New York City. It is highly erroneous and deceptive to edit the article and assert that this or any other B&O trains went to Manhattan. The B&O did operate buses from Rockefeller Center and other locations in Manhattan. The buses would reach the Liberty Place ferry terminal at southwest Manhattan. From this point, the buses would drive onto ferries, carrying the B&O train passengers to Jersey City, whereupon all passengers would transfer from the buses to the B&O trains. After 1958, Baltimore and Ohio trains had their northeastern terminus in Baltimore instead of Jersey City.Dogru144 (talk) 21:18, 23 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
