Etimology

It was not erected as a victory over Tipu. Rather the name "Methan mani" is a deformed one. Originally it was Mesha Mani. Mesham meaning Goats - For those two goats on either sides of the face. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Santhoshj (talk • contribs) 14:01, 25 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
