Source for Feline affinities of Metalurini rather unconvincing
[edit]I think the source for the statement in the text:
"they count as members of the subfamily Felinae today"
is rather unconvincing as it is not a peer-reviewed article, nor a consensus view within the palaeontological community, but a regular series, Fossils Explained, in the journal Geology Today. The source material does not provide citations for this claim and is not really substantiated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ST-FTL-311 (talk • contribs) 16:17, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
