Ghost town
[edit]I apologize for not updating this article when I tagged it, but this town is, in fact, a historic ghost town. It was a small logging community and once included a school, post office, and ranger station. Some time later, it was abandoned. In terms of what remains there, I have no information on the site past 1974, when it was only a trout farm. It's mentioned in Black Hills Ghost Towns by Watson Parker and Hugh K. Lambert--a book referenced by the GNIS and the South Dakota State Historical Society. I will add the information I have found shortly. I apologize again for the confusion!
