Better to keep this article here rather than moving
[edit]Normally, policy is that a genus containing only one species is placed in an article using the genus name as its title. However, in this case, there are already some 10 other articles using "Merope" as a title. What I would recommend is to allow this article to remain as "Merope tuber" or - if people feel it necessary to re-name it, then to use "Earwigfly" for the article, rather than having earwigfly as a redirect. The reason I didn't use earwigfly originally here is that it is not the only common name for this species, AND because it is not clear whether that common name is used for the other species, in the genus Austromerope.
