Novelisation
[edit]In the novelisation section the author of the novel is missing. Does anyone know who he/she is? If you do, please edit! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.50.254.64 (talk) 20:03, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
Page title
[edit]Why is the page called (film) when it is a TV miniseries ? -- Beardo (talk) 05:11, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
- I agree. It seems like it should be named similarly to Gulliver's Travels (TV miniseries). --Mwn3d (talk) 17:53, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
Remake section
[edit]Something needs to be seriously overhauled here, as it's not a remake near as I can tell. The page for Merlin's Apprentice calls it a sequel, but this section flat out says it isn't. Between this and calling the article (film) when it's actually a miniseries, I'd say this entire article needs some drastic work by someone who knows the property.76.226.205.69 (talk) 23:11, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
Missing information
[edit]Very detailed and informative article, but through all the hard work someone omitted mentioning what network actually aired the mini-series. A 10-second google search leading to the New York Times reporting on it being a huge hit for NBC filled in this blank. 68.146.52.234 (talk) 03:48, 19 August 2014 (UTC)
Vanishing Mab
[edit]I'm searching for the actual words to what is described in the Plot here, especially that pasrt in bold:
Mab mocks him (Merlin) and tells him that he and his human followers can't destroy her, but Merlin knows that there are only a few people that believe in the Old Ways. He turns his back on her, telling her that everyone will forget her, and in forgetting, she will no longer exist. Everyone leaves, ignoring Mab's furious calls, and she fades away.
I've googled but am getting nowhere slowly. Can anyone help? LookingGlass (talk) 20:44, 23 February 2016 (UTC)
Plot Size
[edit]The size of the plot suffers from what all other plots that are of films based on some existing work or a period of time and get transformed into an explanation of the history of the period or through excessive detail the difference(s) that may exists from the preexisting work or period of time. The situation that has to be realized is that unless a film is said to be a biopic or documentary then it is a work of fiction that can be any way the creator wants it to be regardless what you think about the perspective that is presented. Also, the article is not meant to be a history lesson or replace the experience of the viewer seeing the film.2605:E000:9152:8F00:3832:5234:5BA4:7DB6 (talk) 23:38, 12 August 2017 (UTC)
- The plot "summary" as I found it seemed to follow the film closely, but was & is pretty verbose. I've pruned a bit, but think more could be done. Pastychomper (talk) 16:22, 13 December 2018 (UTC)
