Overall: Zuver meets all the criteria (albeit barely, as the length is only a couple of letters over the limit - expansion would be nice but is not required). BeanieFan11 (talk) 20:24, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Overall: Englemann meets all the criteria (just passes the length requirement - though further expansion is not required, I see a few additional details you might want to add from the German Wikipedia of all places, including that he narrowly missed qualifying for the 1928 Olympics and was inducted into the South Dakota Hall of Fame). After further review, this DYK nomination is good! Each article appears to meet all the criteria, and thus this nomination appears ready to go! Nice work. BeanieFan11 (talk) 20:59, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No complaints about the prose in this article. You may wish to check that an IP changed "American" to "Nebraskan" in the lead. The lead is MOS compliant. Maybe some confusion for non-Americans what "lettering" means.
2) Verifiability
All sources are newspapers from the era.
Source 1 verifies the information its used for.
Source 2--info used from this source checks out.
Noted that the infobox info is verified by the PFR link.
Source 3 checks out.
Obit checks out. It's cool that you found his gravestone. I assume you are sure that this individual is the same one that played for the packers.
3) Broad in coverage
I did some research and there appears to be no significant coverage of this individual, so these clippings seem to be all there is. Nothing comes up on WP:TWL.
4) Neutral
Hard to argue otherwise.
5) Stable
No edit wars, etc.
6) Images:
The yearbook image is plausibly PD due to age. Maybe we should AI upscale it? Kidding.
Passing!
