Just thought it would be worth mentioning that Issac Hayes (as Chef from South Park)wrote a song about her called Tonight is Right for Love on The Chef Aid South Park album. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.245.32.210 (talk) 15:24, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

was just curious if she ever appeared on "my three sons"?

It doesn't appear in her credits on imdb.com. You may be confusing her with Meredith MacRae. 69.152.197.250 (talk) 02:24, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fugly

[edit]

What a fugly picture on the article page! Lol! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.150.220.235 (talk) 13:57, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's a horrible photo. It's like she's about to tell someone to F-off! --Mezaco (talk) 06:54, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm glad others agree. I was going to say the same thing. I have seen MUCH better pictures of her. NorthernThunder (talk) 14:05, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is really the worst photo that could possibly exist of her. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.92.92.4 (talk) 19:14, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Is there any substantiation of Meredith's relationship to Anne Baxter? I don't believe this is true. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.115.162.11 (talk) 13:15, 1 December 2009 (UTC) I think "I may be wrong but" isnt anne baxter merediths step mother? And why is there no mention of her other brothers and sisters from her father. I know she has a sister named carol marie baxter chamberlin that lives in new mexico. Why is there no mention of her and here other siblings from her father and step mother? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.82.166.191 (talk) 03:34, 9 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Daytime Emmy

[edit]

A 2009 Today.com article did claim she won a Daytime Emmy for the CBS Schoolbreak Special: Other Mothers. And so did TVGuide.com today, though I suspect that's because it was on Wikipedia.

However, a contemporaneous news report at the time contradicts this. The May 27, 1994, Los Angeles Times report on the winners of the 1994 Daytime Emmys ("Emmy's Eye Is on CBS, With 17 Daytime Awards : Television: In the 21st annual presentation, 'Sesame Street' takes 7 honors and Winfrey is once again voted best talk-show host", at http://articles.latimes.com/1994-05-27/entertainment/ca-62996_1_sesame-street) says the only person to win for that special is someone else: "Performer, children's special: Justin Whalin, 'CBS Schoolbreak Special: Other Mothers,' CBS."

The official Daytime Emmy Award site, http://emmyonline.com/daytime#, only goes back to 2003. --209.122.114.237 (talk) 22:18, 4 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Writer?

[edit]

I note that she is listed in the 'Lesbian writers' category. I'm not sure that one book of memoirs classifies her as a writer. At that rate, all manner of other achievers could be classified as writers on the grounds of having written (or commissioned) their memoirs. I'm not sure that this is what the categories are for.
