Its mechanical specification and long-legged character tended toward the high speed tourer category, with superior brakes, all round visibility, comprehensive weather protection, fine luggage capacity and luxurious fittings for the time. It was at its best on cross continent journeys, or cruising boulevards, rather than in competition.
