Needs an update
In the last section it says,
"Keynes and other economists of the 20th century also realized that the balance of payments is an important concern."
It should be noted that this is not the mainstream view of contemporary economists. As a matter of fact, there is nothing that sounds as stupid to an economist's ears as the proposition that it's okay to work for others, but not okay to have others work for you. Economists just don't share the obsession with trade imbalances, exports and jobs that's prevalent among politicians and the general public.
