Good show for a summer show so I will attempt to expand this as it progresses. (TeeVee Junkie) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.83.23.189 (talk) 02:31, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I want to warn people

[edit]

Episode 10 jumps the shark by destroying, out right, the suspension of disbelief by violating the contract with the viewer. You are NOT allowed to have a procedural show like this use metaphysical BS like "past lives" as a cause for your problem. It would be like an episode of CSI where it turned out that literal zombies did it.

Also, for some reason, no one seems to behave like a human should... Oh and there are NO likable characters.

Any idea how I can say any of that NPOV?

Past life Regression Therapy is practice and people believe in it. It is a perfectly acceptable thing to put into a show about psychology. Psychology is a diverse something with many people believing many different things, just because you think its told BS does not mean other do. And there is no "rule" that says you can't have metaphysical things in a procedural show, besides this is psychology here its all metaphysical. Sorry but this ain't "here's a handbook on how to fix a human and their all the same" like medical shows. Things dealing with the mind are anything but common procedural "BS." So no there is absolutely no way to state what you want because it is all personal opinion and biased. Neither of which belong here.--75.45.72.6 (talk) 03:46, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lightswitches

[edit]

What is up with the light switches on the walls? They're the same in both homes and in the hospital, and they are unlike anything I have ever seen. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Katyism (talkcontribs) 15:59, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

-likely due to the show being filmed in Colombia --24.141.237.175 (talk) 17:48, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There are many different designs of light switches, some of which can be seen at Light switch. In Austria, the switch itself takes up almost the entire faceplate, and usually has a metallic sheen (at least in the Graz area). --King Öomie 18:42, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

[edit]

I propose that List of Mental episodes be merged into Mental (TV series). I think that the content in both articles are of a reasonable size that merging of List of Mental episodes will not cause any problems as far as size is concerned. There are only thirteen episodes and one season of Mental which makes it not nearly big enough to warrant it's own article. 74thClarkBarHG (talk) 23:12, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Support as per WP:TVOVERVIEW: in general, single-season TV series should not have separate "List of [...] episodes" articles. --IJBall (contribstalk) 15:27, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Done! List of Mental episodes merged into main Mental (TV series) article. --IJBall (contribstalk) 23:16, 21 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
