I did some edits to the Wikipedia page about Memphis Tiger’s Soccer. The first thing I edited was a title. There was a title on the Wikipage called “Coaches.” After I read the information under the heading, I realized that only one coach was mentioned, Richie Grant. I changed the title from “Coaches” to “Coach Richie Grant” because the whole section was about Grant. On the Memphis Tiger’s Soccer page, I also noticed a few opinions that were inserted. This is the original text on the Wikipage:

Ever since 1982, the Memphis Men’s soccer program has put together a very competitive team. They were first competitive in the Great Midwest Conference and then again when they moved to Conference USA in 1995. In 2013 the Tigers soccer team, and all of the tiger athletics, moved to the new American Athletic Conference and have been very competitive in that as well. In all of these different conferences the Tiger’s soccer team has done a fine job. The Conference USA championship the Tiger’s claimed in 2004 is a nice exclamation point for the program’s different successes over the years. However, with the Tiger's most recent conference transfer to the American Athletic Conference, they will be participating in one of the best and most competitive conferences in the nation.[1]

I’m not sure if this is correct, but I believe that the areas I highlighted contain mild, biased information. What is defined as a “very competitive team”, and how is this fact? Who’s to say that the “team has done a fine job”? Although the information provided does praise the Memphis Tiger’s Soccer team, I think the information should not be so opinionated since it is in an online encyclopedia. I didn’t not edit this information because I’m not sure if I am correct, but I do think that some rephrasing would be beneficial to the article. Alanacrabb (talk) 02:25, 26 November 2013 (UTC)

Not sure that "Memphis Tiger's Soccer" is correct unless the soccer team belongs to a Tiger in Memphis. Consider moving the page to a different title like "Memphis Tigers Soccer Team". It would also help to cross-reference this with Memphis Tigers. Add that page to your "see also" and maybe put a little information on the soccer team over on that page with a link back to your article. Nooneofnote (talk) 03:21, 26 November 2013 (UTC)

I think there needs to be an info box. In the info box, the name of the coach, name of the university, uniform color can be added. You should look at other college soccer pages as an idea. I think there should also be an introduction section instead of the history being the first thing on the page. You should also make sure that when someone clicks “Sean Fraser” that it pops up his own Wikipedia page. Jfpglyan (talk) 9:29, 25 November 2013 (UTC)

To improve your page you should link some of the things that are in your text such as: The Great Midwest Conference, Conference USA, and American Athletic Conference. Also try to stay away from opinionated talk. Besides these couple of aspects just try to expand on everything as much as possible, and everything will look good. 05:41, 26 November 2013 (UTC)Evanross95.er (talk)
