Evidence of author bias?

To avoid incurring the wrath of the WP community for editing a Nobel laureate's page without preceding discussion, I submit that this following sentence is biased and does not merit inclusion based on the general reference of Melvin Calvin's book:

"...he makes no mention of Andrew Benson and the fundamental, formative contributions that Benson made to these discoveries."

Discussion welcome.

Any discussion of bias is irrelevant. Bias is allowed in WP if justified.
However, the sentence you mention only has a citation to Calvin's book. So the claim that Benson was not mentioned in that book is original research and therefore disallowed. I will delete it. If anyone wishes to restore it, they must provide a citation supporting the claim in a reliable source. David Spector (user/talk) 14:53, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
