Inclusion in Category:Star Trek: The Next Generation

[edit]

The article is currently in Category:Star Trek: The Next Generation, but I have doubts as to whether it should be. Apparent from one other example - former showrunner Maurice Hurley's article and I have started a discussion about that at Talk:Maurice Hurley - o other member of the creative team behind the series has their article included in this category including key figures like Rick Berman and Michael Piller and even Gene Roddenberry's article is not in this or any of the other Star Trek categories. It seems that geenrally Science Fiction TV franchise categories like Category:Battlestar Galactica tend not to include production personnel (although Category:Babylon 5 does include the article of Babylon 5 creator J. Michael Straczynski. There thus seems to be a precedent that writers articles are not included in this type of category and I do not think that this should be an exception.
