(see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose, spelling, and grammar):
b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
    a (references):
    b (citations to reliable sources):
    c (OR):
    d (copyvio and plagiarism):
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects):
    b (focused):
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales):
b (appropriate use with suitable captions):

Overall:
Pass/Fail:

· · ·
  • Copyvio check - I reviewed all matches over 9% found using Earwig's Copyvio Detector. No concerns - there were some matched that are Ok per WP:LIMITED, e.g. " from the Lubicon Cree community", "Little Buffalo in northern Alberta"
  • Images - one PD, one CC. Both are relevant, with suitable positioning and captions and good ALT text.
  • Optionally, a short description could be added to the page.
Short description added. -A.
  • I've made a few minor formatting changes; feel free to revert any that you dislike.
Looks good to me! -A.

Sources

  • Sources all look OK.
  • I spotchecked Schilling (2011) (and amended a typo in the title); APTN News (2014); APTN (2017); Martlet 2021; Vice. No issues with representation of sources.
  • The two APTN citations are inconsistent (APTN News v Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN))
I've updated to "APTN National News" and "APTN", as per the sources. -A.
  • Not a blocker to GA, but a couple of sources are linked while others aren't.
I've updated the Briarpatch Magazine citation with an online version of the article (I don't see any other unlinked citations, currently). -A.
I could have been clearer here... I meant, for example CBC News and Fashion ae linked to those articles, but others aren't. BennyOnTheLoose (talk) 09:48, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Optionally, if IABot is working, you could use it to add archived copies to the relevant citations to avid linkrot.
This is a good suggestion, but I have no idea how to use IABot. :-) Is it easy to learn, and can you advise? If not, I can archive the sources manually. -A.
For me, on a laptop, if I go to "View History", there's a link. A direct link is this page. BennyOnTheLoose (talk) 09:48, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Early life and education

  • No issues.

Advocacy work

  • Should "Renewable Energy Transition" really be capitalised?
Probably not, although this seems to be a capitalization issue with an existing redirect page (not Laboucan-Massimo's biography). I've skipped the redirect and linked straight to "Energy transition" instead. -A.
  • Would it be appropriate to add into the article (after the "Subsequently, Laboucan-Massimo joined calls..." sentence) that the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls did in fact take place?
Sure -- I've added a short line to state it was launched in 2015. -A.
  • Should "pipeline be capitalised in "Trans Mountain Pipeline"?
Nope! Fixed. -A.
  • Optionally, add something about the purposes of the David Suzuki Fellowship.
I've added a few words. -A.

Media

  • i don't think that the year after Revolution should be italicised.
Good catch! fixed. -A.

Publications

  • Shouldn't "downstream: reimagining water" have some capitalisation?
The publisher has styled the book title in lowercase, but you're right that WP:MOS wants title case. Fixed! -A.

Infobox and lead

  • Same question as above about whether "Renewable Energy Transition" should be capitalised.
Fixed. -A.

As far as I can tell from sources, the article is neutral and has appropriate coverage. Only a couple of minor issues to be addressed. Thanks for your work on the article. Regards, BennyOnTheLoose (talk) 23:37, 1 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@BennyOnTheLoose: Thanks for the review! I've tried to address all items above (and would be happy to look into using IABot, with a bit of extra guidance). Let me know if there's anything else. Alanna the Brave (talk) 02:38, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. The archiving of links, and consistency in whether source names are linked, were both optional. I'm satisfied that the article meets the GA criteria, so am passing it. BennyOnTheLoose (talk) 09:48, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
