Find correct name
The airport is not listed as João Paulo II anywhere.
The airport's own website calls itself simply Ponta Delgada, and has no mention of João Paulo.
Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).

Champeiloo, Lampacau and Pulotrimam, are different names of the same place. It is not in Malaysia but in China.
Samcham is one of the portuguese names of Shangchuan Island, were Francis Xavier died.
The visit of Nunez Barreto in Shangchuan and in Lampacau was counted in the Pilgrimage of Fernão Mendes Pinto. I think that the names "Champeiloo" and "Pulotrimam" are those used by Mendes Pinto for Lampacau, and that he mistaked describing a single place as two different places, but I am not sure. However the English translations of the book of Mendes Pinto skip this passage, it can only be read in Portuguese or in French, and I am not sure that this issue is interresting in this article: Just keep Lampacau.
As long Macau was created in 1557, Nunes Barreto cannot has visited this place in 1555. But maybe that some considers Lampacau as a kind of early Macau. Lampacau was however few kilometers from Macau
