Possible dates of birth and death
[edit]There's a Melvyn Ford who was born 13 December 1923 and died 7 December 2000 -
It might be him because babies born in December are often not registered until January, so many of the first quarter births in a year on FreeBMD are often December births. The main thing that makes me think it might not be him is the death place is Kingston upon Thames and he doesn't seem to have links to there.
