redirect for predictor-corrector
[edit]Heun's method links to predictor-corrector, which links here. However I don't think the two things are the same thing. The one Heun's method is talking about is something like this, which links to a reference written in 1987, which is two years before this method was supposed to have been invented. If they are about the same thing, then there's some serious problems with this article, not the least of which is that it's incredibly dense. --Numsgil (talk) 02:40, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
- I took a stab at describing the term "predictor-corrector method". Feel free to make additions, corrections, suggestions, or whatnot. Thanks for pointing this out. Cheers, Lunch (talk) 18:05, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- Excellent, thanks. I might spend some time adding to it over the next few days, now that it's in a format I'm more familiar with :) --Numsgil (talk) 00:25, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
I changed the redirect of "predictor-corrector" to "predictor-corrector method" just now. It seems like the latter site is much more general and is what more people would be looking for (including me). The link to the "Mehotra predictor-corrector method" is available from that site.
