Fake news about her death
[edit]Media have spread that Labidi has contracted COVID, but it is not true. Her doctor in Tunisia has denied that on Zitouna Channel and her friends too on Facebook. The doctor even said publicly that it was a rare neurological pathology that is comparable to a stroke. I personally knew Meherzia Labidi and I can give you her family contact if you don't believe me. Someone keeps changing the article to make people believe she died from covid, even if I corrected it twice, with sources (nothing available in English), and I can't help but see it as an attempt of political manipulation.
Zitouna Channel source here.

- First, a random guy claiming on the Internet that he knew her is not a source and cannot go around calling what he doesn't like "fake news". News of her infection with Covid dates back to November, when she was flown to France, and were never contested until after her death, curiously enough. Stroke is among the know complications that can be caused by Covid. The only political manipulation I see is the attempt to hide that she had covid now that she is dead. --31.158.253.168 (talk) 19:07, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
- First, I am a girl, and I don't know who to contact directly at wikipedia to prove myself and settle this, but if you have info about it I am listening. Second, news of her infection with covid was spread by anti Ennahdha media only, and even after they were called out for their error, they didn't correct their version. Third, no one can fly out of Tunisia and enter France while openly covid positive. Fourth, she was first hospitalized and then send back to home because her case was not treatable, that is not the way covid patient are treated in France. Finally, her own doctor has denied the rumor, so why keep it as a fact?
