[edit]Appears that Meghna Group and Meghna Group of Industries are about the same company. Propose merging. Sgt9635 (talk) 11:59, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
- Don't merge – Despite the similarity in name, these are unrelated conglomerates. Meghna Group was found in the late 1960s by Abdul Khaleque Bunyan and is centered on bicycles, with other business lines being "tyres, components, automobiles, garments, plastic polymers, retail & finance".[1][2] Meghna Group of Industries was founded in 1976 by Mostafa Kamal as Kamal Trading Company. It is centered on consumer staples (fast-moving consumer goods), with other businesses being "building materials, pulp and paper, LPG, feeds, fiber, power plants, shipping, seeds crushing, chemicals, ship building, dockyard, securities, insurance, media and aviation."[3][4] --Worldbruce (talk) 16:58, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
