Coverage of reviews
[edit]I think paraphrasing the critic reviews makes it easier to read and is more inline with Wikipedia:No_original_research#Primary.2C_secondary_and_tertiary_sources. (See paraphrased diff). Quoting critics directly is only needed where any form of paraphrasing is disputed, per WP:MOSFILM. —Eustress 21:57, 10 October 2014 (UTC)
- I'm fine with paraphrasing, so long as there is no substantial difference in meaning. —Asterisk*Splat→ 00:18, 11 October 2014 (UTC)
- I've gone ahead a restored paraphrased version then. —Eustress 14:56, 12 October 2014 (UTC)
- I have rewritten part of the § Reception section to more accurately summarize the critics consensus. --82.136.210.153 (talk) 10:36, 14 October 2014 (UTC)

Audience response
[edit]It's understandable that some editors want to include an audience response to the § Reception section. The audience score of Rotten Tomatoes and user score of the IMDb are not suitable for this. Please read WP:MOSFILM, in particular its § Audience response section:
"Do not quote comments from members of the general public (e.g., user comments from Amazon.com, the Internet Movie Database or personal blogs), as they are self-published and have no proven expertise or credibility in the field. Polls of the public carried out by a reliable source in an accredited manner, such as CinemaScore, may be used. Do not include user ratings submitted to websites such as the Internet Movie Database or Rotten Tomatoes, as they are vulnerable to vote stacking and demographic skew."
Vote stacking is the possibility to influence ratings by selectively notifying people who have or are thought to have a predetermined point of view or opinion. A demographic skew is, for example, that The Dark Knight is in the top 10 of IMDb's top 250 list,[1] but its demographic breakdown shows that only 16% of the votes are from females.[2] Also, 53% of its votes are from people aged 18-29.[2] Even if the majority of user reviews of Meet the Mormons are not from members of the LDS movement, Internet users in general are not a reliable sources with respect to the field of film criticism and analysis. Edits to WP:MOSFILM reflect consensus. If you believe that guideline should be changed, feel free to voice your opinion at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Film. --82.136.210.153 (talk) 14:53, 12 October 2014 (UTC)

Meet the Mormons:New Faces, New Stories
[edit]I feel that information about the new "Meet the Mormons: New Faces, New Stories" should be added to Wikipedia (I'm seeing it in the Washington DC temple visitor's center Monday Night). However with this follow on movie (with updated information on the original six stories and three new one), I'm not sure how to handle it. Unlike the original movie, it has not been placed into general release, so a separate article may or may not be appropriate. If not, then an additional section in this article is probably appropriate. Also, does anyone have specific information as to whether it is Meet the Mormons:New Faces, New Stories or Meet the Mormons:New Faces/ New Stories (, or / after faces).
