Is 'Meet-me-room' a real industry term?
[edit]I have been involved in networking since the mid 1980's and have never heard the term 'Meet-me-room'. I have heard the term 'peering point'. In the early days of the Internet these were called Commercial Internet eXchanges or CIXs. Reading the wiki article I gather these are now called Internet exchange points.
Unless good references can be found, I would classify the term 'Meet-me-room' as local industry slang and not a common industry term.
Maybe we should delete this article due to lack of relevance?Robert.Harker (talk) 05:04, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
