I remember seeing Meeno Peluce on a comedy special, almost certainly on NBC, around the time of Voyagers! that did a spoof of a horror film that I was young enough to find very disturbing at the time. Peluce's character sat in an old chair at a bus stop and got eaten, but to keep it comedic you didn't see him once the sound effects started, and it ended with a burp. It was so corny that a delivery guy had "curse of the Chair" on the back of his jumpsuit. There was a Groucho Marx impersonator, and near the end, the chair was shown having hanged itself in its jail cell. I think it was called something as nondescript as "The NBC Comedy Special," but no one has been able to identify it in years of asking about it online. --Scottandrewhutchins (talk) 18:10, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
