Tables

It always amazes me that when you go to the trouble of formatting a table so that it displays properly, people come along, get rid of align and width codes, and spell out the months so they take more space, with the result that it displays much worse on most machines, and they think they have made it better.--Toddy1 (talk) 20:46, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

The dates were not formatted properly at all (day month and year within the same double brackets). The refs were also grouped rather than separate. Once all of the content has been sorted, it is then possible to go back to widths and checking the tidyness of the display. GraemeLeggett (talk) 06:38, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Title

I've moved the page from "Mediterranean Fleet (United Kingdom)" to "Mediterranean Fleet". Although other navies are listed at Mediterranean Fleet (disambiguation), the term "Mediterranean Fleet" was redirecting to the UK page anyway, so it was redundant to have the parentheses. Hopefully I haven't overlooked anything that may cause issue in the new title. Spellcast (talk) 21:14, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

Moved to List of Mediterranean fleets (without redirect). Widefox; talk 18:00, 13 December 2015 (UTC)

world war 2

No mention of Alexandria Battle, sinking of Queen Elizabeth adn valiant? Shoild this articel to be deemed to be NOT neutral? De facto it looks like a British POV.

The Second World War is a very brief summary. It clearly states that Battle of the Mediterranean is the Main Article, which does cover the sinkings of Queen Elizabeth and Valiant. So no, there's nothing really un-neutral about this article, which is about a British fleet. --Simon Harley (Talk | Library). 12:40, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
"You'll never get a proper list of all the flag command in the Mediterranean in First World War from published sources or the internet. The only place such details exist is at The National Archives in the Service Records or the list of Squadrons in ADM 6/461."
