Etymology

There are currently no sources cited at all. But I marked the etymology 'The name means "the central town of the Santones"' as specially in need of a source, because etymology isn't an easy matter. There's no doubt that "Santonum" means "of the Santones"; it's the word "Mediolanum" that might be in doubt. Andrew Dalby 09:47, 8 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
