Undue weight?
[edit]Ten Bears address is moving, considering the circumstances, but perhaps having such a lengthy quotation from him is giving undue weight to one element of the complex issues of the treaties, settlers and American Indians. Also, editors are supposed to be relying on valid third-party sources, not on OR pulling together primary quotes.--Parkwells (talk) 20:15, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
Assessment comment
[edit]The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Medicine Lodge Treaty/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.
This article omits important information about the Treaty itself - all it really says it that there were 3 treaties, who attended, that it was never ratified, and why; it doesn't actually say what the treaties were in regards to. Haveaday66 00:08, 30 May 2007 (UTC) |
