What is?
[edit]Why is this page redirecting? I want to read about what a medical foundation is and what it's purpose is in general, not about a specific medical foundation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.196.188.150 (talk)
- There is no general article as yet about medical foundations, which would be titled Medical foundation (with a lowercase letter f). This particular organization, Freedom from Torture, is also still referred to as the "Medical Foundation" (with an uppercase letter f) by people. Happy holidays! Paine 18:13, 27 December 2015 (UTC)
- Agree the redirect should be broken. Freedom from Torture is not the only medical foundation. Indeed, their page indicates they are more of a social service agency. A foundation such as Sloan Kettering or a university-affiliated research facility is infinitely more appropriate. Recommend creating page about what a medical foundation does, with appropriate links to example sites. DeknMike (talk) 03:57, 5 February 2019 (UTC)
New Page
[edit]CoI notice - I've been hired to update the OMRF page. When prepping for that, I found this page did not reflect an encyclopedic discussion of a medical foundation. I started this page rewrite on my own, separate from the paid activity.DeknMike (talk) 02:36, 17 February 2019 (UTC)
