Congressional Gold Medal
[edit]"United States Congressional Medals are sometimes mistakenly called "...of Honor" (and confused with the Medal of Honor)"
To whoever wrote this, Thank You, as this is confused in a few articles. For example the Overland Relief Expedition, which I have edited to clarify this. The statute awards a "gold medal of honor" but this is not the same as the military decoration the Medal of Honor. Furthermore, regardless of the description in the statute, it is classified as a Congressional Gold Medal, not a "Congressional Gold Medal of Honor". --Nyctc7 (talk) 17:20, 21 September 2012(UTC)
