Live album
[edit]I saw a live album at a garage sale in Toronto, unfortunately I did not get to buy it. It was a live concert at the El Mocambo in Toronto , Meat Loafs old girlfriend had it and she sold it for nothing. I don't see it listed on the discography, anyone else ever see a copy? Mark mek13@rogers.com
- I've found a reference to that album here in a collection of Meat Loaf bootlegs [1]. Freikorp (talk) 23:03, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
UK Charts
[edit]I've noticed several errors in the UK Chart listing here - certainly MeatLoaf and Stoney never got into the UK Charts as well as other mistakes. Where have these figures come from?--Tuzapicabit (talk) 02:18, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- Just checked the history and someone with an anonymous IP address has been messing around with the figures inflating them more and more. I don't know what's been changed exactly so it's hard to tell what is actually accurate on this page. One possible solution is to revert the changes of the last 6 months, but I'll leave it to someone who's involved with the page to maybe sort it out.--Tuzapicabit (talk) 02:33, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- I've cleaned it all up, it is now referenced so check for yourself if you like. I have added the page to my watchlist and do my best to revert any vandalism. Freikorp (talk) 22:57, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
Reverted changes
[edit]Why? For example: if you want to write new sales numbers than you should write source; if www with this kind of info is not available than you should write at least where you heard or saw it.
Sunset2007b (talk) 15 September 2008 —Preceding undated comment was added at 14:29, 15 September 2008 (UTC).
- I have reverted back what I called unexplained reversions that I will explain here. Twice now Sunset2007b has done two massive reversions recently with the edit summaries, "I reverted changes from last 5 months. Why? See the discussion page." and "You should write source (sales numbers - where you saw or heard them)." Both times the user said they were reverting unsourced sales numbers but also reverted many other edits not having to deal with sales numbers. These other reverted edits are what I refer to as unexplained. So I have made one edit to incorporate flagicons being taken out per WP:MOSICON, boldfaced being taken out per Wikipedia:Record charts, capitalization being fixed per WP:MOS and redlinks being taken out that are unlikely to become articles. Australian Charts
[edit]The charts listed do not include Australian placings prior to 1993. This is because the chart references australian-charts.com which only goes from 1991 onwards. It is misleading to imply that Meat Loaf did not chart in Australia prior to Bat Out Of Hell 2. Can I suggest that instead of a dash that the chart position is ? with an acknowledgement that the article is incomplete. Note to contributers: not all facts on the net are correct.
For an explanation of Australian Chart Listings and history see the discussion pages of the Alice Cooper Discography (Alice's charts suffer the same inaccuracy)Shimmins (talk) 11:51, 5 May 2010 (UTC)shimmins
- there is an australian charts book which goes back to the 60's. i have asked an australian editor who has it to supply the info from it Mister sparky (talk) 21:18, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
Intergalactic Touring Band
[edit]He sang a song in the rock opera "Intergalactic Touring Band". The song was called " A Planet called Monday/Epilogue". The rock opera featured many revered artists from the 70's. Didn't see it in the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.60.234.118 (talk) 16:37, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
No, he sang the song "Keeper" on the IGTB album. I ordered the album off Amazon.com after looking for it for 25 years! contralto2b@yahoo.com — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.246.206.159 (talk) 23:14, 4 August 2011 (UTC)
Confirmed, he did the vocals on the track "Keeper Keep Us" [1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.100.216.20 (talk) 16:03, 22 January 2022 (UTC)
