Stuctures? seen in Google satellite view
[edit]About 200 yards south of the given location Google satellite view shows about 15 clearly delineated structures. Are these the remains of the village? If so it may be worth mentioning in the article, and a screen capture would make an excellent addition to the article? Chienlit (talk) 07:02, 15 February 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for the comment. I can't see the structures you are referring to - can you give an exact location. My thoughts, based on all the sources cited, was that there is nothing left above ground to signify the site of the villages. If you look at the location on streetmap the dotted lines show the location of the east and west villages.— Rod talk 07:45, 15 February 2011 (UTC)
- I was talking about the crop markings and stinging nettles such as 51°10′30″N 2°47′41″W / 51.17493°N 2.79478°W, but I'm not anymore because the OS clearly shows me to be wrong. :( (Probably old pig arcs, trending in the wrong direction.) Chienlit (talk) 11:48, 15 February 2011 (UTC)
