Factual inconsistencies in the article
[edit]Apart from the obvious {NPOV} issues, I've also noticed the following factual problems with the article:
- the article states the school was built in 1982, but the school board web site says the school opened in 1981, and in 2006 the school is having their 25th year reunion, which seems to confirm 1981 as the right date
- the article states the school student population is "1750 and it is continuing to grow", but the lastest information at the school board web site says 1677 (2005-Sept-30)

- My mistake, I am the original author of the webpage O.S and I believe that the date issue should be 1981. It should be changed. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.194.135.196 (talk • contribs) .
Another issue a student relayed to me is the lack of caucasian representation within the list of majorities.
I removed the part about "the most prominent ethnic groups", which seemed pretty arbitrary and unsupported by any kind of evidence. To me, someone who's from Meadowvale, it doesn't make much sense to list Germans as a "prominent ethnic group," and not, say, people of British extraction, who probably still form the single largest "ethnic" group within the student population. 208.101.91.76 21:03, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
I've removed information from this article that adversely mentioned individuals and was not referenced by independent citations. Fair use rationale for Image:Meadovale falcon.gif
[edit]Image:Meadovale falcon.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
