Name
[edit]This is a "synthesis of sources" (specifically, cross-comparison of Political Graveyard, Ballotpedia and the Alaska Court System court records database), but it would indicate that his name is Louis Mead Treadwell II. Can anyone confirm or deny this via a simpler source?RadioKAOS (talk) 06:44, 1 October 2011 (UTC)
You're right about his name, but this Lisa Demer story helps avoid using primary sources to confirm that: http://www.adn.com/article/20140621/candidate-profile-treadwells-underdog-run-us-senate-draws-40-years-alaska-work Activist (talk) 21:44, 11 August 2014 (UTC)
Also
[edit]Treadwell has long been associated with Commonwealth North, likely due to his association with Hickel. Additionally, in 1989-1990, he was head of a Cordova-based group related to the impact of the Exxon Valdez oil spill.RadioKAOS (talk) 06:49, 1 October 2011 (UTC)
Reassessing
[edit]Promoting this to C. Still looks like it needs lots of work, particularly in beefing up certain sections, not so much in referencing but additional sources would always be helpful. I have tons of photos of Treadwell but have declared a moratorium on uploading any of my photos of active politicians, due to certain editors who insist on aggressively pushing these sort of articles in the direction of POV pushing and self promotion.
