Hey Eric, I'll be reviewing this article. I did some minor tweaks while reading the article. – jona ✉ 01:30, 24 April 2017 (UTC)
- Lead
- Is there a reason why we need to source the English translation of the album's title?
- From my prospective, it is best to have a translation sourced, if possible. But if it's not needed, then I can remove it no problem.
- The part where you explained that this album marks a transitional shift should end after you said ranchera music. The rest seems to just reiterate what you said earlier "It marks a musical style change".
Done
- Who are Emilio and Gloria Estefan and Kike Santander?
Done. That didn't even cross my mind at all.
- Did the album spend twelve weeks at number one or on the chart? (I later read that it spent that number of weeks at number one which should be rewritten because I thought it only spent 12 weeks on the chart.)
Done. Good catch!
- Background
- Isn't iconic a WP:WEASEL word?
- Well the source uses the word "legendary" to describe Vicente Fernández so I thought iconic would be an acceptable substitute. Should I use legendary as the sources or
- Well, what made him iconic without over detailing his life? Since he is the King of Ranchera music, replace that sentence with: Since 1992 Alejandro Fernandez established his musical career as a ranchera singer, parallel to that of his father the King of Ranchera music, Vicente Fernandez.
- When was Mi Tierra released? It could help the reader understand its timeframe of Fernandez's inspiration to record pop ballads.
Done. Forgot about the parenthesis.
- Misc
- Is there something wrong with the certification table for the US?
- Not sure what you mean. It looks fine on my end.
- It is italicized on my end. – jona ✉ 02:22, 24 April 2017 (UTC)
